This month, we’re excited to spotlight Brian, who has been an integral part of our family for over 20 years. With decades of hands-on experience, Brian has grown alongside Manning’s, playing a key role in its development and helping customers find the best products for their needs.

A Journey of Growth

Brian started at Manning’s Feed and Seed in 2002, taking on the role of a feed loader. Over the years, his responsibilities expanded to managing both store locations, overseeing inventory, and taking on just about every role in the business. His deep knowledge of feeds, lawn care, and pest control makes him a go-to resource for both new and longtime customers.

“I’ve worked in almost every position here,” Brian shares. “I started loading feed, and now I help manage the business and ensure we have the right inventory to meet customer needs.”

Passion for Helping Customers

For Brian, the most rewarding part of his job is helping customers find the right products. Whether it’s selecting the best feed for livestock or offering expert advice on pest control, he takes pride in making sure customers leave with the right solutions.

“I love growing into this role and helping people find the products that will help them the most,” he says.

With past experience in the pest control industry, Brian is especially knowledgeable about lawn and garden care. It’s no surprise that many customers seek him out for advice on keeping their gardens healthy and pest-free.

Favorite Memories and Looking Ahead

Reflecting on his 20 years at Manning’s Feed and Seed, Brian recalls the early days of the business and how far it has come.

“One of my favorite memories is seeing Manning’s in its infancy and figuring out how to grow it,” he shares. “It’s been amazing to be part of that journey.”

What has kept Brian at Manning’s for two decades? The culture.

“The culture we’ve cultivated here is what makes this place special,” he says. “I’m excited to see how Manning’s Feed and Seed continues to grow in the future.”
