Spring is here, and our first Flock Drop was a massive success! We sold out of all the chicks within just 20 minutes. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such an exciting day. If you missed out, don’t worry! Spring Flock Fest is just getting started at Manning’s Feed & Seed.
Every Saturday in March and April, we’ll be releasing new batches of baby chicks at our Milton and Pace locations. Whether you’re looking for high-producing egg layers, friendly backyard pets, or heritage breeds, we have the perfect chicks for your flock!

Barred Rock – A reliable dual-purpose breed known for being curious, friendly, and excellent egg layers (250+ brown eggs per year).
Olive Egger – A crossbreed designed to produce beautiful olive-green eggs, often a mix between a blue egg layer and a dark brown egg layer.
Onyx Olive Egger – A dark-feathered variety of Olive Egger with striking black plumage and green egg production.
Blue Australorp – A stunning variation of the Australorp with blue-gray feathers, maintaining the excellent egg-laying abilities of its black counterpart.
Cuckoo Maran – Known for its rich, chocolate-colored eggs, Cuckoo Marans are also friendly and easy to raise.

Black Australorp – These birds are docile and easy to handle, making them a great choice for beginners and families.
Speckled Sussex – A beautiful breed with reddish-brown feathers speckled with white, laying around 250 tinted eggs per year.
H.C. Silkie St. Run – Silkies have fluffy feathers, black skin, and a sweet personality, making them great pets or broody hens for hatching eggs.

White Leghorn – The top producer of large white eggs, laying over 300 eggs per year, while being active and alert.
